Small Gas Engines:
Students will learn safety and measuring skills. They will become familiar with different types of engines. They will understand compression, ignition, and carburetor systems. Students will learn how to troubleshoot and repair engines. Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

Students will learn measuring, safety and use and care of tools. Students will do hot and cold metal working along with learning Oxy fuel welding, Oxy fuel brazing, and arc welding. Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

Wildlife & Aquatics:
The Wildlife and Aquatics course covers the history and management of terrestrial and aquatic animals in the United States and Pennsylvania. Students will focus on the identification of mammals, fish, and birds found in PA; management techniques for the preservation and control of animal populations, and methods of improving wildlife habitat. Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

Wood Technology:
Wood technology teaches the properties, characteristics, and uses of lumber. Students will learn to identify and select lumber for use in construction projects based on the physical properties of the lumber. Student will learn to safely use hand and powered wood working equipment to plan, design, and construct projects using a variety of woodworking skills and techniques. Students will learn how to preserve, protect, and beautify finished projects. Grades 9, 10, 11, 12

Agriculture Mechanics:
Pre-requisite: Wood Technology, Small Gas Engines, Welding. This two period course will prepare students for careers in several areas relating to agriculture. Students will study small gas engines, welding, machinery operation and repair, fundamentals of soil, soil preparation and use, surveying, framing and construction of farm buildings, woodworking, basic
